What the core AI capabilities do for you
BidDesk is built around two high-impact operations designed to save hours of manual review and eliminate proposal compliance errors.
AI Full Analysis
Opportunity Brief + Line-by-Line Compliance Matrix
What it does:
Ingests the entire SAM.gov notice and all attached solicitation documents (PWS/SOW, Section L, Section M, CLIN structures, amendments). It extracts every binding requirement, detects incumbent signals, scores your win probability, and generates:
- 0–100 Bid/No-Bid Verdict: Evaluates eligibility, NAICS fit, and past performance alignment.
- Executive Brief: Scope summary, contract type, ceiling, key dates, win themes, and risks.
- Full Compliance Matrix: Every mandatory obligation tagged with its source, strength (shall/must), and assigned proposal section.
Customer benefits:
- ✓Saves 10–20 hours per RFP: No more wading through 100-page solicitations manually.
- ✓Stops unwinnable bids early: Avoid spending thousands chasing opportunities with hidden disqualifiers or entrenched incumbents.
- ✓Zero compliance surprises: Evaluators can never reject your bid for missing obscure submission rules.
AI Draft Generation
First-Draft Proposal Sections Grounded in Your Past Performance
What it does:
Writes complete, structured first drafts for all 8 standard federal proposal sections (Cover Letter, Executive Summary, Technical Approach, Management Approach, Staffing, Past Performance, Transition Plan, Pricing Narrative).
- Requirement-Mapped: Directly answers the RFP compliance rows and places citations like
(R-014)into the narrative. - Past Performance Grounded: Weaves in your actual contract history and differentiators from your profile.
- No Hallucinations: Never invents personnel, dates, or dollar amounts. Automatically flags
[[CONFIRM: ...]]gaps for human review.
Customer benefits:
- ✓Solves the “blank page” problem: Delivers 70–80% complete proposal drafts in minutes.
- ✓Multiplies response volume: Submit 3x to 5x more proposals each quarter without hiring expensive capture consultants ($150–$300/hr).
- ✓Full human control: Edit inline, fill gaps, regenerate sections on demand, and export cleanly to Markdown or print.

How do monthly allowances translate into real proposals?
Writing a thorough federal proposal usually takes 1 Full Analysis (to qualify the notice and build the compliance matrix) and 6 to 8 AI Draft Generations (to write the proposal volumes).
Ample capacity to thoroughly screen 30–40 solicitations and write 15–20 full proposal responses every single month.
Power for 5 collaborators running active capture pipelines across multiple federal agencies simultaneously.
Complete Team-seat access for up to 5 users so your whole team can test BidDesk on live SAM.gov notices without entering a credit card.
Frequently asked questions about pricing
What happens when my 14-day free trial ends?
Your data, saved notices, compliance matrices, and drafts remain secure. When you are ready, simply select either the Pro or Team plan from your billing settings. We never charge you automatically without your consent.
What counts as an analysis vs. a draft?
An analysis is the combined generation of an Opportunity Brief and a complete Compliance Matrix on a notice. A draft is the generation or regeneration of one proposal section (e.g. Technical Approach).
What if I re-run an analysis after uploading new amendments?
Re-running an analysis on the same notice within the same calendar day counts as only 1 analysis against your monthly cap. You can freely add new attachments and re-analyze without burning through your quota.
Is my company's proprietary past performance used for AI training?
No. Your company data, past performance citations, and uploaded documents are sent to private API models under zero-retention agreements that strictly prohibit training public AI models on your proprietary work.
Can I change or cancel my plan at any time?
Yes. You can switch between Pro and Team or cancel your subscription at any time with a single click in your billing settings. There are no annual lock-in contracts.
Do you offer custom enterprise plans?
If your shop requires more than 5 seats, custom SAM.gov integrations, or dedicated support, reach out to us and we will tailor a plan for your capture desk.
